1999 - VENUSAUR #003 - GAME BOY - HOLO - JPN
This card was initially created for Pokémon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy Color, but a programming error in the code meant the card cannot be obtained. In Japan, a physical print was made available as an Unnumbered Promotional card in copies of the Pokémon Card GB Official Guidebook, released on January 28, 1999. This print features a "GB" symbol in place of an expansion symbol, referencing its ties to the Game Boy title.
